About Chocolate Babies
Chocolate Babies Gourmet Chocolate Treats, was started by professional photographic artist and educator, Joan Rudder-Ward, MBA, CPP, as a way to fund community programs that she hosts for girls and young women, as many that she works with are disadvantaged.
Her banner program, Photography with Purpose, features photography workshops that help girls build self-confidence, positive self-esteem, and develop leadership skills--while they learn new photography skills. Additionally, she hosts entreprenuerial workshops for youth teaching them how to use their interests and talents to start their own ventures. Joan has received regional and national recognition for her community service work in this area.
Gourmet dessert-making is another passion of Joan’s, as she has been baking up delicious goodies since she was a child--a skill nurtured by her mother who was also known for her wonderful baked goods. It only seemed natural to use these skills to support her main passion of helping young women grow into all they can be. The delightful images of children that adorn Chocolate Babies containers, are Joan’s personal photographic art.
